Welcome to Shapes

We're redefining people management for the new era

Today marks a new chapter. DreamTeam is now Shapes, and we've raised $24M in Seed and Series A funding led by Entrée Capital, with participation from NFX, F2 Venture Capital, and Magnolia. But this isn't just about a new name or a funding round. It's about solving a problem we've all witnessed and building something the world actually needs.

The problem we saw

Throughout our careers, we've watched companies scale. Some became industry leaders. Others transformed entire markets. And across all of them, we kept seeing the same pattern:

The product scaled. The vision scaled. The people platforms? They kept breaking. Companies would switch HR systems year after year, always searching for something that actually fit.

And we kept asking ourselves: in a world where everything evolves constantly - especially now, in the AI era - why do people platforms stay exactly the same?

Here's what became clear: people are everything. Get that right, and you can win. Get it wrong, and nothing else matters.

Yet the tools meant to help were built for a different world. A world where things moved slowly and stayed clear and orderly. Where rigid, old-world HR platforms could somehow work because change was predictable. That world doesn't exist anymore.

Why this matters

What separates exceptional organizations from forgettable ones? It's never just technical management - it's culture.

But here's what happened: early HR platforms favored order, organization, uniformity. Digitization meant taking the physical world into digital in the most orderly way possible. Culture and unique identity? Those weren't convenient. They weren't scalable.

So platforms sacrificed them.

But they didn't just sacrifice culture
. They failed at efficiency too. Data scattered across disconnected systems. Hours lost to admin work and bureaucracy. And no way to preserve what made your organization unique.

So companies ended up losing on both fronts. Efficiency, and identity. Ouch.

Then the world accelerated. In the AI era, change happens too fast to track. Businesses are expected to deliver more, faster. The highest output. The biggest impact. Instant response to market shifts. All while maintaining culture and staying true to who you are.

Old-world HR platforms weren't built for that. They can't keep up.

That's the gap we're here to close.

What we're building

Shapes is the first AI-native PeopleOS, purpose-built for a world that never stops changing.

We're here to solve what old platforms couldn't: velocity and identity, at the same time.

AI is baked into everything. Agents handle the admin work that used to slow you down. They surface insights that matter, proactively, so you can act fast. Meanwhile, the platform molds to fit your unique organizational DNA. Your workflows. Your values. Your culture.

The architecture is modular by design. Essential building blocks that you can arrange, rearrange, and customize to the extreme. Want onboarding that reflects how you actually work? Performance reviews built around your values? Compensation structures that match your philosophy? Build it. Fast.

Every company has its own shape. We help you keep yours, while moving at the speed this era demands.

Thank you

This milestone wouldn't be possible without our community:To our investors, thank you for believing in this vision and backing us through the journey. Special thanks to Yoni Osherov at Entrée Capital for leading this round and co-building with us as we scale.

To our team, you challenge conventions every single day. You make the complex feel simple. This company exists because of you.

To our customers, you make it all worthwhile. Watching you build exceptional companies while staying true to who you are is exactly why we're here. What you've seen so far is just the beginning.

What's next

The world changes by the week now, not by the year. Organizations need to keep up. And the people who power those organizations deserve platforms that evolve with them, not against them.

A new kind of world deserves a new kind of people platform. We're building it, one block at a time.

Welcome to Shapes.
