Salary band generator
What does it do?
A compensation intelligence view that analyses your current employees' salaries by department and seniority level, then generates structured hiring bands across the org. It derives four seniority levels from tenure, calculates a floor, midpoint, and ceiling for each department and level combination, and surfaces hiring offer recommendations for every band. Built entirely from your own data, so the output reflects what you actually pay, not external benchmarks that may not fit your market or structure.
When should it be used?
When opening a new role and needing a defensible salary range to work from, or when compensation planning has outgrown informal decisions. Most useful for HR leaders formalising a levelling framework for the first time, preparing for a hiring push across multiple departments, or auditing whether current pay is consistent within levels. Also useful ahead of compensation review cycles when you want to see where employees sit relative to the bands the data suggests.
